- Microsoft PowerPoint 98 Macintosh Edition
This article was previously published under Q272776 SYMPTOMS
When you create a hyperlink from a slide in one PowerPoint presentation to a slide in a second presentation, the top quarter inch of the slides in the second presentation is cut off and not displayed.
WORKAROUND
To work around this issue, copy the slides from the second presentation into the first presentation, and then create a hyperlink to them as slides in the same presentation. To copy the slides into one presentation, follow these steps: - Open the original presentation, if it is not already open, and then click Slide Sorter on the View menu.
- Open the second presentation, if it is not already open, and then click Slide Sorter on the View menu.
- Click Arrange All on the Window menu.
- Drag the slides from the original presentation to the new presentation.
This will copy them from the original presentation to the new presentation.
After the second presentation is complete, insert a hyperlink to the slides as slides within the show.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
