In addition, when you log on to the computer after you restart it and then press a customized Internet Hot Key on the keyboard, you may receive the following error message:
Microsoft Keyboard: Can't open the requested item.

RESOLUTION

There is no resolution to this issue at this time.

To prevent this issue from occurring, do not shut down or restart the computer.

If you lose your personalized IntelliType preferences, open the Microsoft Keyboard control panel, and then select the IntelliType preferences that you want to use.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft IntelliType software for Macintosh, versions 1.0, 1.1.

MORE INFORMATION

When several users on the same computer use the IntelliType software to customize their keyboard preferences, their customized keyboard preferences are preserved until the computer is shut down or restarted.
