After you upgrade Microsoft Internet Explorer to either version 5.01 or version 5.5, you may not be able to view the icon text labels on the desktop or in the folders.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if your computer has outdated video drivers for the ATI 3D Xpression PCI Mach64 video card. This video card is shipped with many Gateway 2000 Pentium computers.
