SYMPTOMS

For example, actions that are associated with keystrokes may occur unexpectedly.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if the SideWinder Strategic Commander game controller is not calibrated correctly.

RESOLUTION

If the SideWinder Strategic Commander game controller is not calibrated correctly (is calibrated off-centered), the navigation assignments in the current profile may constantly be replayed when you use Windows or other programs.

To resolve this issue, disconnect the SideWinder Strategic Commander game controller from the Universal Serial Bus (USB) port in the computer, make sure that the game controller is able to center itself, and then reconnect the game controller to the USB port.
