SYMPTOMS

After installing Microsoft Windows Media Player on Microsoft Windows 98 Second Edition, you may not be able to uninstall it.

CAUSE

Windows Media Player, version 7.0.0.1954, may not be able to locate the installation directory, which is needed to begin the process of uninstalling.

RESOLUTION
