SYMPTOMS

When you use the programs listed at the beginning of this article, you may be unable to hear sounds or view pictures when you preview an E-mail or a Web project.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if Microsoft Internet Explorer is not configured to play animations or sounds or to show pictures.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, configure Internet Explorer to play animations and sounds and to show pictures:
  1. Start Internet Explorer.
  2. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
  3. Click the Advanced tab.
  4. Under Multimedia, click to select the following check boxes

    • Play sounds
    • Play animations
    • Show pictures

    and then click OK.
