This article was previously published under Q272199 SYMPTOMS When you use one of the programs listed at the beginning of
this article to print to a Lexmark 5700 or a Lexmark 7000 printer, certain
printed projects may contain incorrect coloring around text boxes.
CAUSE This behavior can occur if the printer driver for your
printer is outdated.
NOTE: This behavior is known to occur when you use the Lexmark
5700/7000 printer driver version 1.0.1.3 or earlier. RESOLUTION To resolve this issue, contact the printer manufacturer to
inquire about how to obtain and install the latest printer driver for your

- Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Printers.
- Right-click your printer icon, and then click Properties.
