Create a New Folder

To create a new folder:
  1. Double-click the My Computer icon on the desktop, and then double-click the hard disk on which Microsoft Windows is installed.
  2. Double-click the Program Files folder.
  3. On the File menu, point to New, and then click Folder.
  4. Right-click the New Folder folder, and then click Rename.
  5. Type Picture It! Publishing, and then press ENTER.

Copy the Contents of the Compact Discs

To copy the contents of the compact discs to the hard disk:
  1. Insert the Disc 1 CD-ROM for the program into the CD-ROM drive. Press and hold down the SHIFT key as you insert the CD-ROM to prevent Setup from starting automatically.
  2. On the toolbar, click the Back button twice.
  3. Right-click the CD-ROM drive that contains the compact disc, and then click Explore.
  4. On the Edit menu, click Select All.
  5. On the Edit menu, click Copy.
  6. Click the Back button on the toolbar.
  7. Double-click the hard disk on which Microsoft Windows is installed.
  8. Double-click the Program Files folder.
  9. Double-click the Picture It! Publishing folder.
  10. On the Edit menu, click Paste.

    NOTE: A Copying dialog box should appear. The file copy process may take several minutes.
  11. Repeat these steps to copy the contents of each CD-ROM for the program to the hard disk.

    NOTE: When you copy the contents of the second or subsequent CD-ROM for the program, you may be prompted to overwrite existing files. If you receive this prompt, click Yes to All.

Install the Program

To install the program:
  1. Double-click the PIP folder.
  2. Double-click Setup.exe.
  3. Follow the instructions on the screen to install the program.
