SUMMARY

RDCSite is a command-prompt utility that creates, resets, and deletes Microsoft Project Central sites on a Microsoft Project Central Web server. You can run RDCSite after you set up Microsoft Project Central. You can use RDCSite to do the following:
  • Create multiple Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) virtual directories for Microsoft Project Central that have the proper permissions, and create registry keys with the specified database connection information. This process allows users to set up their Microsoft Project Central server to connect to multiple databases.
  • Reset an existing Internet Information Server (IIS) virtual directory to the authentication permissions that it was originally installed with. Resetting does not affect settings at any level other than the Microsoft Project Central virtual directory (the Default Web Site is untouched).
  • Delete an existing IIS virtual directory for Microsoft Project Central and its associated registry keys, if they exist.
