680) device, you may receive the following error message:
MAPI spooler cannot be started. Close and then restart all mail-enabled
applications. MAPI 1.0 (000004C7) CAUSE This issue may occur if you installed Symantec Norton
AntiVirus software when mail programs were open. When Norton AntiVirus is
installed in this way, it removes the file extension from the MAPI spooler
Mapisp32.exe file. RESOLUTION To resolve this issue, follow these steps: - Click Start, point to Find, and then click Files or Folders.
- Type Mapisp32 in the Named box, and then click Find Now.
- Rename the file Mapisp32.exe, and
then copy the renamed file to the Windows\System folder.
