XADM: Public Folders Log Errors After You Upgrade to Exchange 2000 (271817)

SYMPTOMS

If you use the Domain Administrators group (or Enterprise Administrators, or Schema Administrators) to place permissions on a Microsoft Exchange Server 5.5 public folder, and then upgrade the Exchange Server 5.5 computer to Exchange 2000, the Domain Administrators group (or Enterprise Administrators, or Schema Administrators) is not converted to Universal Security Groups.

As a result, the information store logs an error, and the public folder is accessible if the Domain Administrators group (or Enterprise Administrators, or Schema Administrators) is the owner.
