Error Message: "Active Directory Installation Failed: The Network Location Could Not Be Reached" (271750)

When you use the Dcpromo.exe tool to install Active Directory, the following error message may be displayed:
Active Directory installation failed: The network location could not be reached.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur because the server's network adapter is not securely attached to a hub nor to a switch with a network cable.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this behavior, you must ensure that the server's network adapter is firmly connected to a hub or to a switch with a network cable.
If the above does not work attempt this: Ensure the network cable is plugged in and IP connectivity is established.Uninstalled the following Protocols and services from the problem server:
File and printer sharing for Microsoft networks.Client for Microsoft Networks.TCP/IP. Reboot youyr computer, reinstall the above applications.
