SUMMARY

This article explains why you cannot run parallel sessions of the Isinteg utility (Isinteg.exe) on different databases on the same server.

Isinteg.exe uses fixed memory locations and file locations that prevent multiple instances of Isinteg.exe from occurring in memory. If you try to run multiple instances of Isinteg.exe on different databases, you receive the following error message:
Isinteg cannot initiate verification process. Please review the log file for more information.
The second instance of Isinteg.exe is then terminated.

In addition, you cannot use a command switch to specify multiple databases to be treated with Isinteg.exe.
