To run any of the programs listed at the beginning of this article, you need:

• Multimedia PC with Pentium 166 MHz or higher processor
• Microsoft Windows 95, Microsoft Windows 98, Microsoft Windows Me, Microsoft Windows NT Workstation 4.0 with Service Pack 6a or later or Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional
• 32 megabytes (MB) of RAM for Windows 95 or Windows 98 (64 MB recommended); 64 MB for Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000 or Windows Me
• 250 MB to 1015 MB of available hard disk space plus additional space may be required to install some options
• Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 software required and included; up to an additional 80 MB of hard disk space may be required for the Internet Explorer upgrade (Internet Explorer does not replace your primary browser.)
• Quad-speed or faster CD-ROM drive
• Super VGA monitor and a video adapter with 1 MB of VRAM
• Microsoft Mouse or compatible pointing device

Optional:

• 28,800-baud modem for Internet connectivity
• Access to the Internet. Access to and use of the Internet may require payment of a separate fee to an Internet service provider. Connect-time charges may apply.
• Sound card with headphones or speakers
• Microphone required for voice recording
