XADM: Offline Address Book Disappears After You Create It (271429)

In a Windows 2000 domain that has multiple domain controllers, after you create a new offline Address Book in Exchange System Manager, the newly created offline Address Book may disappear from the right pane in Exchange System Manager when you refresh the view, or when you close, and then reopen Exchange System Manager.
CAUSE
This issue can occur if Exchange System Manager is communicating with a domain controller that has not replicated with the original domain controller that was used by Exchange System Manager to create the offline Address Book.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, wait for replication to occur between the domain controllers, close Exchange System Manager, and then and reopen it, or refresh the view in Exchange System Manager.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server.
