The %ZccollectiveDSAdn% Attribute Is Displayed During the Configuration of the TAMA Resource (271420)
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Metadirectory Services 2.2
This article was previously published under Q271420 SYMPTOMS
When you configure a new Together Administration Resources folder, the "Select the MA" and "Select a Location" buttons display the %ZccollectiveDSAdn% attribute, instead of the metadirectory tree information.
When the preceding attribute is displayed, it prevents you from using a drag-and-drop operation during the initial configuration phase.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur because an attribute is not created until an object is created. The object is not fully created until you click OK.
RESOLUTION
To work around this behavior, perform the following steps: - When the preceding attribute is displayed, click OK to close either the Select the MA or Select a Location dialog box.
- On the Resource Information tab, click OK.
- Double-click on the TAMA resource entry to display the Resource list.
- Press F5 to update the screen.
- Select the newly created resource and right-click Properties. The Management Agent (MA) tree is correctly displayed for both the "Select the MA" and "Select a Location" buttons.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
