PRB: MaxHeight/MaxWidth Properties of PivotTable Should Be Less Than 32000 (271368)

SYMPTOMS

When you are viewing a large report in the PivotTable component, the bottom or right-most portion of the report is missing.

CAUSE

This problem may occur when you set the MaxHeight or the MaxWidth properties of the PivotTable component to values greater than 32000 and also have a report that exceeds that height or width.

RESOLUTION

Do not set the MaxHeight or MaxWidth properties of the PivotTable component to values greater than 32000.

STATUS

This behavior is by design.

This limitation is actually in the container, Internet Explorer. This is for compatibility with older operating systems, namely Microsoft Windows 95, which had strict Graphics Device Interface (GDI) limitations.
