SYMPTOMS

The documentation on page 16 of the Getting Started Microsoft BackOffice Small Business Server Guide and a note in the Migrate User Wizard Help file contain the following documentation error:

Important
The Migrate User Wizard does not export passwords. All passwords will be left blank and users will be forced to change their passwords the first time they log on. The Change Password Wizard can be used to set user passwords after user accounts have been created.

Important
The Migrate User Wizard does not export passwords. All passwords will be left assigned the password of "abcd12345" (without the quotation marks). Users are not required to change this password after logging on. The Change Password Wizard can be used to set user passwords after user accounts have been created.
