DirectCD No Longer Works After Installing Windows Media Player (271265)

is running Windows 2000, your Adaptec DirectCD software may no longer work.
CAUSE This issue can occur when a registry key is damaged.
RESOLUTION To resolve this issue: WARNING: The following procedure makes an alteration to the registry, so
you must use caution when you perform the procedure.
- Download the Cddirect.reg file from the Microsoft Download
Center and save the file to the Windows folder.
- Click Start, click Run, type cddirect.reg, and then click OK.
