"ITCallInfo::put_CallInfoLong" Property on a TAPI 3 Call Causes "Not Supported" Error (271178)

SYMPTOMS

If an application uses the ITCallInfo::put_CallInfoLong(CIL_APPSPECIFIC, x) property on a Telephony Application Programming Interface (TAPI) 3 call, a "not supported" error may occur. This error prevents the application from being able to "tag" a call so that another related application can later determine what the call was intended for.

RESOLUTION
