SYMPTOMS

When you are sourcing from a file, if an application is designed to repeat the source file through the automation interface, and time compression is enabled, a degradation of audio quality may occur through the source content.

WORKAROUND

Do no select looping or time compression.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Windows Media Encoder version 7.0.
