Problem Printing Large Document to USB Printer (270615)

When you try to print a large document to a Universal Serial Bus (USB) printer on a USB port, you may receive an error message that is similar to:
There was an error writing to document for the printer printer name.
CAUSE
This problem occurs only if the document that you are printing is large enough to cause the computer to have to wait for the printer. In this case, the USB driver may not send some of the data to the printer, causing the error message to occur.
RESOLUTIONA supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that this article describes.
