XL2001: Column Heading in List Is Not Redrawn Correctly (270083)

SYMPTOMS

When you click a column heading in a list object, and then click a cell within the list object in the same column, the border of the column heading is not redrawn completely and still displays part of the highlight that it had when it was selected.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, download and install the Microsoft Office 2001 Service Release 1 file. To do so, visit the following Microsoft Web site: To temporarily work around this problem, click any cell in another column to cause the column heading to be redrawn correctly.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was corrected in Microsoft Office 2001 for Mac Service Release 1.
