To synchronize a Palm Pilot with Outlook, you must have
both the Palm desktop software and Chapura PocketMirror software installed.
Both programs are provided with your Palm Pilot, and are located on the

When you install the PocketMirror software, a
button is added to your standard Outlook toolbar that allows you to modify the
PocketMirror settings within Outlook.

with Outlook, you must have the current updated versions of the Palm Pilot
desktop software and the PocketMirror software installed. For additional

Because the Palm Pilot software requires that you have a profile
in Outlook, install Outlook in the Corporate or Workgroup (CW) mode. For

Typically, only the default folders (Inbox, Calendar, Contacts,
Tasks, and Notes) are synchronized with synchronization software.
To synchronize a Palm Pilot with Outlook, the device must be
in its cradle, and Palm HotSync (the Palm synchronization software) must be
running. With the device in the cradle, press the
HotSync/Synchronization button on the cradle to activate the synchronization procedure. A
synchronization status window appears on your desktop. When synchronization is
complete, the software displays where you can view a log file of the
synchronization process.
