Under certain indeterminate circumstances, the Microsoft Word Compare Documents command may not identify all additions or deletions of text in a given document, or it may flag only a portion of the document.
WORKAROUND
Be sure to thoroughly check the document to verify that the Compare Documents command has flagged text appropriately.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
