WD2001: AutoCorrect Settings Are Selected by Default After You Upgrade to Word 2001 (269917)

When you upgrade from Word 98 to Word 2001, all the AutoCorrect default settings are selected, regardless of whether they were selected in Word 98.
WORKAROUND
To work around this behavior, manually clear the selections of the default settings after you upgrade to Word 2001.
To clear the selected AutoCorrect default settings, follow these steps:
- Start Microsoft Word 2001 and open a new blank document.
- On the Tools menu, click AutoCorrect.
- Click to clear the five check boxes under AutoCorrect, and then click OK.
