OFF2001: Value Pack Installer Refers to Install Location as "Process Location" (269897)

The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft Office 2001 for Mac

This article was previously published under Q269897

SYMPTOMS

When you use the Value Pack installer to install the Microsoft Office 2001 Value Pack, the install location is referred to as the "Process Location," and a message similar to the following appears in the Value Pack Installer window:

Items will be processed on the disk "Macintosh HD"

CAUSE

The files in the Value Pack are processed during the installation, and the user interface reflects this step of the installation by referring to the "Process Location" rather than the "Install Location."

MORE INFORMATION

The "Process Location" is the same as the "Install Location," and the Value Pack files are, in fact, installed from the same folder in which they are processed.
