When you import data from a FileMaker Pro 5.0 database into a Microsoft Excel 2001 for Mac workbook, FileMaker Pro starts, and the data is imported successfully. However, when you quit Excel, FileMaker Pro continues to run, and does not quit as expected. This also occurs when you create a merge document in Microsoft Word 2001 for Mac, and you use a FileMaker Pro 5.0 database as the data source.
WORKAROUND
To work around this issue, quit FileMaker Pro after you quit Excel or Word.
