CSNW/GSNW Add Printer Wizard Does Not Display Large Number of NDS Print Queues (269867)

SYMPTOMS

When you use the Add Printer Wizard to browse NDS trees for print queues and the OU contains a large number of print queues, no print queues are displayed. The exact number of print queues that are needed to display this problem varies due to length of name and tree structure, however, a number of print queues that is greater than 359 has displayed this problem.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Windows 2000. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was first corrected in Windows 2000 Service Pack 2.
