You may receive one of the following error messages if you try to verify a certificate that has been revoked and is on the certificate revocation list (CRL) that is downloaded by a CRL Distribution Point (CDP):
No CRL found.
The CRL is unavailable or expired.
These error messages can occur in programs such as Outlook 2000 that can use certificates.
CAUSE
The error message is returned as expected. Under some circumstances, the certificate may still get checked by using the CDP as if the certificate has not been revoked, which causes the error message.
