To use Microsoft SideWinder Game Voice, you need:

A multimedia PC with an Pentium MMX 233MHz or faster processor.
Microsoft Windows 98 or later operating system.
64 megabytes (MB) of random access memory (RAM).
45 MB of available hard disk space.
A quad-speed or faster CD-ROM drive with a protected mode (32-bit) CD-ROM driver.
A super VGA video adapter and monitor capable of displaying 256 or more colors at a resolution of 640 by 480 pixels or higher (High Color (16-bit) recommended)
An available USB port.
A Microsoft Mouse or compatible pointing device.
Messenger Service software (included on CD-ROM) required for connection management features.
A 33,600 bits-per-secons (bps) or faster Internet connection (56,000 bps or faster recommended)

To use SideWinder Game Voice to chat with other players, each player needs:

SideWinder Game Voice or Game Voice Share software.
A 33,600 bits-per-secons (bps) or faster Internet connection (56,000 bps or faster recommended)
Speakers and a microphone, or a headset with a microphone.
A sound card with a full-duplex chip set, and functional Line Out and Microphone jacks
To chat with the maximum of 64 other people in a single chat session, SideWinder Game Voice must be installed on the computers for at least 15 of the participants.
