FIX: LoginTimeout and QueryTimeout Properties in Replication ActiveX Control Are Not Used During Execution (269560)

SYMPTOMS

The SQLDistribution and SQLMerge ActiveX objects both have the LoginTimeout and QueryTimeout properties, which you can set in the control. However, these parameters do not take effect and the controls timeout exactly at the 60 second default if they meet the timeout criteria.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in SQL Server 7.0. This problem has been corrected in U.S. Service Pack 3 for Microsoft SQL Server 7.0. For more information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
