When you submit a Help and Support incident in the Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition (Me) help center, the Classes.dat registry file is not included with the submitted files. Both the System.dat file and the User.dat file are collected and have check boxes on this interface.

The Classes.dat file is a new registry file in Windows Me. It contains the HKEY_Classes_Root branch of the registry that was previously contained in the System.dat file.
