When you are using a device (such as a Sony camcorder) on an Open Host Controller Interface (OHCI) 1394 (or FireWire) controller, multiple bus resets that interfere with the device may occur.
CAUSE
This behavior is caused by a problem in the 1394 driver. When an error condition occurs, the driver automatically performs a bus reset, rather than checking to see if the error merits a reset of the bus.
