OL2000: Outlook Opens a Hyperlink in the Incorrect Browser (269093)

When you click a hyperlink in an Outlook Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) formatted e-mail message, Internet Explorer opens the Web page instead of Netscape Communicator. This problem occurs even though you have set Netscape Communicator as your default browser.
WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, use one of the following methods.
Method 1- In Outlook, open the HTML formatted message.
- On the File menu, click Save As.
- In the File name box, type a descriptive name for the message.
- In the Save as type box, verify that HTML (*.htm) is selected.
- In the Save in box, choose a location in which you want to save the file, and then click Save.
- Double-click the .htm file that you just saved.
Method 2
Revert to an earlier version of Internet Explorer by uninstalling Internet Explorer 5.5.
