SYMPTOMS

DeInterlacing and Inverse Telecine cannot be used concurrently. You can have either DeInterlacing or Inverse Telecine selected in the Windows Media Encoder.

CAUSE

This is currently a limitation in the codec.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Windows Media Encoder version 7.0.
