If you connect or disconnect a Universal Serial Bus (USB) device while you are using the SideWinder Strategic Commander to record, the recorded session is stopped and is not completed.

This behavior occurs because you reset the USB bus whenever you connect or disconnect a USB device.

Microsoft suggests that you do not connect or disconnect any USB devices while you are recording something with the SideWinder Strategic Commander.
