SYMPTOMS

In the Office 2000 programs listed at the beginning of this article, when you click Open on the File menu, you can browse to restricted drives, even though drive access is restricted via Group Policy.

RESOLUTION

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
