Works 6: Printed Object Is Clipped At Right Column Edge (268734)

When you format a Microsoft Works Word Processor document with columns, and you then insert an object into one of the columns, the object may be clipped at the right column edge when displayed on the screen.
When you print this document, the entire object is printed, but the right edge of the object overlaps the next column.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur when both of the following conditions are true:
- There are more than two columns in your document.
- You insert the object into any of the middle columns.
RESOLUTION
To work around this behavior, use one of the following methods.
Method 1: Resize the Object- Click the object to select it.
- Select one of the corner selection handles.
NOTE: Selection handles appear around the object. - Press and hold down the SHIFT key, and then drag the corner selection handle until the object is the size that you want.
Method 2: Change the Number of Columns to TwoNOTE: This method may have other unintended results.
- Open your document.
- On the Edit menu, click Select All.
- On the Format menu, click Columns.
- In the Format Columns dialog box, type 2 in the Number of columns box, and then click OK.
