SYMPTOMS

If you paste large amounts of text in a note, Entourage appears to stop responding when you attempt to save and close the note. In addition, when you open the note, certain options such as scrolling and selecting text may not respond.

CAUSE

As the amount of text contained in a note increases, the amount of time that is necessary to write this data to the Entourage information store increases.

WORKAROUND

If you want to preserve large amounts of text in Entourage notes, consider saving the text in several different notes.
