ENT2001: You Receive Repeated Prompts for Your Password (268662)

SYMPTOMS

When you use the Allow Online Access option in Entourage and move from the Online folder to a local folder, you receive repeated prompts for your password.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs because you have not selected the Save Password option.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this behavior, click to select the Save Password check box:
  1. Click Accounts on the Tools menu.
  2. Click the account for which you wish to save the password.
  3. In Receiving Mail, click to select the Save Password check box.
  4. Click OK.
