MORE INFORMATION

To display Japanese menus in Outlook, use the Japanese component of the Microsoft Office 2000 Multi Language Pack and Windows 2000.

NOTE: To display Japanese menus, Outlook requires a Japanese capable operating system. Windows 2000 is currently the only Microsoft operating system to support multiple languages. Outlook cannot display Japanese menus on the English-language versions of Microsoft Windows 95 or Microsoft Windows 98 operating system.

To use Japanese menus in Outlook, Windows 2000 install the Japanese language support files and set Japanese as the default language for the operating system. The following steps in this section describe how to install the Japanese language support files and set Japanese as the default language.
