Screen Redraws Slowly After You Quit 3D Pinball (268459)
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional
This article was previously published under Q268459 SYMPTOMS
After you play Microsoft 3D Pinball in full-screen mode and then quit 3D Pinball, the background may redraw very slowly. Note that this is less likely to occur on very fast computers.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur because of a lack of system resources, possibly caused by a large amount of CPU utilization. The resolution change to a window, in addition to the WM_PAINT message that is sent to all windows (with the desktop being last), delays the screen redraw.
