In Microsoft Office 2001 for Mac, when you install a component in the Value Pack twice, the Installer does not report that the files have already been installed.
WORKAROUND
Although there is no workaround for this problem, no harm is done by this process. The Value Pack Installer either installs the new component and the new functionality is added, or if the component has already been installed, nothing changes.

In Microsoft Office 98 Macintosh Edition, when you install a component in the Value Pack twice, the Installer reports that the files have already been installed.
In Microsoft Office 2001 for Mac, the Installer does not report that the files have already been installed.
