Game Voice: Eject Command Does Not Function in Combat Flight Simulator (268288)

SYMPTOMS

When you use the Microsoft SideWinder Game Voice software with Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator, the verbally activated "Eject" command does not eject the pilot as expected.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs because the Eject command is mapped to the O key on the keyboard.

You must press and hold down the O key to eject the pilot.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, modify the existing Combat Flight Simulator Game Voice profile:
  1. Start the SideWinder Game Voice software.
  2. Make sure that the Combat Flight Simulator profile is enabled, and then click the Command tab.
  3. Click the Eject command, and then click Edit.
  4. In the Assign Keystroke box, type the following text

    OOO

    and then click OK.
  5. Click Profile Options and then click Save.
The verbally activated "Eject" command should now eject the pilot as expected in Combat Flight Simulator.
