SUMMARY

When several users contribute to a common task, you may want all of them to use a common style. Microsoft Works Word Processor is capable of creating a template, and then each user can use the template to ensure that a common style of font, type size, type color, page border, and so on is used for the common task. The template may be saved to a removable medium such as a floppy disk and distributed to each of the users.

MORE INFORMATION

To create a template and save it to a floppy disk, follow these steps:
  1. Start Works Word Processor.
  2. Create a sample document that contains all the formatting and style content that you want.

NOTE: You can use this same procedure on a network drive if all of the users have access to it.
