The computer may not resume from the state of hibernation in order to perform tasks scheduled in Microsoft Windows Task Manager.
CAUSE
This behavior occurs if a computer with Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition is running in Advanced Power Management (APM) mode instead of Advanced Configuration and Power Interface (ACPI) mode.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this behavior, contact your hardware vendor and inquire what, if any, changes can be made to make the computer ACPI compliant.
