SYMPTOMS
Restoring a restore point that you created while a CD-ROM was in the drive, also restores the CD-ROM title in Microsoft Explorer. This behavior occurs whether another CD-ROM is in the drive, or if the drive is empty. When you select the drive, the following error message is displayed:
Program Not Found Windows cannot find AUTORUN.EXE
NOTE: The error message that is received can vary depending on the CD-ROM.
If the CD-ROM drive contains a CD, right-click the drive, and then select
Explore to display the files for the CD currently in the drive. Both the title in the folders list and the window title display the previous CD's title.
With the drive containing a different CD, right-click the drive, and then select
Properties, and the Label is correct (for example, the title of the current CD in the drive, not the CD that was in the drive when you created the restore point).
With the drive containing a different CD, right-click, and select
Open, and the correct title is displayed. When you close that window, the incorrect title remains.
