Internet Games Are Not Uninstalled Correctly (267591)

If you try to remove an Internet game from the Windows Setup tab of Add/Remove Programs, the check box for the game is still selected even though the Internet game is removed from the computer.
WORKAROUND
To completely remove an Internet game from Add/Remove Programs, follow these steps: - On the Windows Setup tab of Add/Remove Programs, locate the Internet game and clear the check box beside it.
- Click OK.
- Re-select the check box for the Internet game, and install the Internet game.
- Go back to the Windows Setup tab of Add/Remove Programs, locate the Internet game, and clear the check box for the Internet game.
- Click OK.
The Internet game is uninstalled and the check box beside the Internet game is removed.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
