SYMPTOMS

When you are using a Japanese or United States version of Microsoft Windows Millennium and you change the cursor settings on the Display tab of Accessibility Options and then click Apply and Cancel, the changes are not saved.

WORKAROUND

To work around this behavior, click OK instead of Apply after making changes to the cursor settings.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.

Steps to Reproduce the Behavior

  1. Click the Start button, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
  2. Double-click Accessibility Options, and then click the Display tab.
  3. Change the cursor settings, click Apply, and then click Cancel.
  4. Double-click Accessibility Options, and click the Display tab.
